Orchard is hiring: Development Producer
Orchard Studios is looking for an experienced factual development producer with first-class writing skills to join our unscripted creative team.
The ideal candidate will be used to working with creative teams to generate and develop ideas with a broad popular factual sensibility, especially in the Documentary, Formats and Factual-Entertainment genres. They will have a track record in contributing to projects which have gone on to be commissioned.
We’re looking for a self-starter with a passion for generating ideas, and the ability to turn toplines into fully fledged ideas with both rigour and creative flair.
They should have excellent writing and design skills to finesse ideas into compelling proposals, decks and pitches along with an understanding of popular documentary, factual-entertainment and talent-led unscripted television. Sizzle editing skills a plus.
Initial three month contract.
